Montrose Press: The lights stayed on — and our money will be staying here

A recent article in the Montrose Press reports that the Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA) has successfully moved its power supply away from Tri-State Generation & Transmission to its new provider, Guzman Energy... and the lights stayed on!

According to the Montrose Press:

"DMEA and Guzman have already begun development of a large-scale renewable energy project of at least 10 MW of solar energy which will be built in our community. Future development will also be locally focused, keeping dollars invested in local communities."
